Exchange Trip to Vietnam

Do you have anything planned for the summer yet? Here’s an opportunity to fill up your holidays with a meaningful exchange trip organized by WUS!
WUS is planning a summer trip to Ho Chi Minh City, from 30th May 2016 to 3rdJune 2016. The problem of street children is one of the most pressing social problems in Vietnam. The children, who range from pre-schoolers to teenagers, are often seen working as shoe polishers, newspaper sellers, lottery ticket sellers, trash collectors, and beggars. There with be visits to local NGOs and universities, where you can hear from the local voice towards these issues, as well as to have exchange activities with local students and services for the community.
Visiting the country’s largest city, Ho Chi Minh City, where visitors will experience a dynamic growth over the past decade and a surge into contemporary life, we will offer opportunities for participants to gain insights into the traditional culture of Vietnam and its evolution.

Fee: around $4,100 (includes air tickets, accommodation, transportation and some meals)
Quota: 30 WUS full members
